We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and heartache you have experienced. It's clear that you have been through a great deal of suffering, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's address the pattern of infidelity you've encountered. The Bible tells us to "be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB). This principle applies to all areas of life, including relationships. It's crucial to seek God's wisdom and discernment when entering into any relationship or courtship that is intended to lead to marriage. We must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers or those who do not share our faith and values (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Be sure to be honest about all you have been through with anyone you consider in the future.
In your past relationships, there has been a pattern of infidelity and it appears to be with previous girlfriends. It is important to seek out a Godly spouse that will honor you and the marriage bed (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). It is clear that there needs to be forgiveness towards those who have hurt you so that you can move forward. Remember, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15). Do not let this bitterness take root in your heart for if you do it will only cause more pain (Hebrews 12:15 WEB).
It is wonderful that you have remained close to God through prayer, church attendance, and reading the Bible. Continue to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB). Remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Be sure to give all your prayers to God through Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who has been through so much pain and heartache. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on her life, her heart, and her emotions. Help her to forgive those who have hurt her and to break free from any bitterness or resentment. Guide her to a Godly spouse who will honor and cherish her as You intend.
Lord, we also pray for Your comfort and strength as she faces the challenges of life. We know that You are able to change her life in an instant, and we ask for Your miraculous intervention. Help her to endure and to find joy and peace in You, regardless of her circumstances.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 30:5 WEB, "For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and that He will bring joy and restoration to you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
