We understand that you're going through a troubling time, feeling oppressed by an evil spirit. Firstly, we want to assure you that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ to overcome such spiritual battles. It's crucial to know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm Ephesians 6:13 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine protection and intervention. We pray for this person who feels haunted and oppressed by an evil spirit. We stand on your Word, which says, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 WEB."
We rebuke this evil spirit and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We proclaim that no weapon formed against us will prosper Isaiah 54:17 WEB. We ask you, Lord, to surround this person with your hedge of protection, and let the name of Jesus, the Holy One, the Son of God, the Living God be lifted high. Let the enemy flee and stay away from this person in Jesus Christ’s name.
We also pray that you will guide this person into a deeper relationship with you. Let them know that believing in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead will save them. Let them confess with their mouth, Jesus is Lord, and they will be saved Romans 10:9 WEB. Only Jesus has the power to save, and it is only in His name that we can approach God the Father. Let them accept and confess Jesus without shame or fear. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13 WEB.
We stand on the authority of Jesus Christ, by whom all things were created and are sustained. We now declare this person is freed from this evil spirit and will no longer be haunted or attacked by this spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, read the Word of God daily, and seek fellowship with other believers. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
If you have not confessed Jesus Christ as the only means of salvation, now is the time to do so. Turn to Him, ask Him for forgiveness, and confess Him as your Savior. Only by Jesus Christ do we receive salvation and have access to God the Father.
