We are deeply grieved to hear of the torment you are enduring, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, who has already triumphed over Satan through the blood of Jesus Christ. You are not alone in this, and we will lift you up in prayer, rebuking this evil in the mighty name of Jesus, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address that you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have authority over the enemy. The Bible tells us, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth" (Philippians 2:9-10). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, you have no authority over the enemy, but in Him, you have all power to trample over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
This evil voice you describe is a demonic oppression, and it has no right to torment you. The Bible assures us that "whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother" (1 John 3:9-10). You are a child of God, and this torment is not from Him. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we claim that freedom for you now.
We must also encourage you to resist the lies of the enemy, especially when he whispers thoughts of despair or wishes that you had never been born. These are direct contradictions to the truth of God’s Word. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy wants to destroy your hope, but we must remind you that "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have crushed spirits" (Psalm 34:18). Do not let the enemy’s lies take root in your heart. Instead, fill your mind with the truth of Scripture, for the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and it has the power to cut through every lie.
Now, let us pray for you with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under severe demonic attack. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and deliverance, and we ask that You would rise up on their behalf and silence this evil voice that torments them day and night. We rebuke this demonic oppression in the name of Jesus and command it to be silent and flee, for it has no authority over this child of God. Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, drowning out every whisper of the enemy with Your truth, peace, and love. Let them hear Your voice clearly, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them.
We pray for complete deliverance from this torment, Father. Break every curse that has been spoken over them and cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life. Let the blood of Jesus cover them and cleanse them from every defilement. Restore their mind, their peace, and their joy, Lord, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has already purchased for them on the cross. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly support—believers who can stand with them in prayer, encourage them in the faith, and help them walk in victory. Let them not be isolated in this battle, but let them find strength in the body of Christ. Give them the courage to resist the enemy firmly, knowing that he must flee (James 4:7).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and may they walk in the fullness of Your love and power. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to take practical steps in your faith to combat this oppression. Immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is your weapon against the enemy’s lies. Worship the Lord, for praise silences the enemy (Psalm 8:2). Fast and pray, seeking the Lord’s face with all your heart. Surround yourself with strong believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And never forget: the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). He will fight for you; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church or pastor who can pray with you and provide further guidance. You do not have to face this alone. Stand firm, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart can trust in Him (Psalm 28:7).
