We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the works of the devil. The torment you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus has come that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The spiritual warfare you are enduring is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the demonic oppression you are experiencing with the truth of Scripture. Jesus has given His followers authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and He has already disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). The demonic influence you describe is not beyond the reach of Christ’s victory. We rebuke the lying spirits that seek to drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit in your life. We command them, in the name of Jesus, to be silent and depart from you. The Lord rebuke you, Satan, and all your evil works (Jude 1:9). We declare that the Holy Spirit’s voice will no longer be suppressed in your life, for He is the Spirit of truth who leads you into all truth (John 16:13).
The cult you escaped from has no authority over you. Their blasphemy against the name of Jesus is a grave sin, but it does not diminish His power or His love for you. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We break every curse, spell, and incantation they have spoken over you in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible declares that Christ became a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). No weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also address the lies and slander the enemy has planted in your mind and spread to others. The devil is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his accusations have no place in your life. We speak truth over you: you are forgiven, you are redeemed, you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). The slander against you will not stand, for the Lord is your defender and your vindicator. We pray that the Lord would expose every lie and bring truth to light, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed (Luke 8:17).
Now, we pray for your complete deliverance and freedom. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. We ask You to break every chain of bondage that the enemy has placed on this dear one. Send Your holy angels to surround and protect them, to guard their mind, body, and spirit from every attack of the evil one. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, and their mind, for the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lord, we ask You to fill every area of their life with Your presence. Where the enemy has sought to isolate and torment, let Your peace flood in. Where the enemy has spoken lies, let Your truth prevail. Where the enemy has sought to control, let Your Holy Spirit lead and guide. We declare that this one is no longer a slave to fear, but a child of God (Romans 8:15). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Father, reveal any open doors in their life that the enemy has exploited—whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, unconfessed sin, or involvement in occult practices. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that they would renounce every ungodly tie to the cult and any false teachings they embraced. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we ask You to restore what the enemy has stolen. Restore their joy, their peace, and their sense of identity in Christ. Restore their relationships, their health, and their purpose. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, for if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36). We pray that they would no longer be bound by the fear of the cult or its members, but that they would live boldly for You, knowing that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for the members of this cult. Father, open their eyes to the deception they are under. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel. Send laborers into their midst to share the love of Christ and expose the lies of the enemy. Let them come to know You as their Savior and Deliverer, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Finally, we pray for this one’s spiritual growth and protection. Surround them with godly believers who can encourage and support them. Lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can grow in their faith and be equipped for spiritual warfare. Teach them to put on the full armor of God daily, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Let them find their strength in You, for those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We declare that the dungeon of spiritual oppression is broken. The light of Christ has come, and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5). We speak freedom, healing, and restoration over this life in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
