Beloved of All
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult time. Here's a redacted version of your message:

I'm struggling with eviction, a ### family, finances, needing a job, my mental health and being a single parent. I feel so down right now I need God to lift me up.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the heavy burdens weighing upon you—eviction, financial hardship, the challenges of single parenthood, and the toll these trials are taking on your mental health. Yet we rejoice that in your distress, you are turning to God, for He alone is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not forgotten, dear one, and the Lord sees your struggles. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must lift up the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His authority that we pray. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, there is no true hope or lasting peace, but in Him, you will find the strength to endure and overcome every trial.

Now, let us address the trials before you with the truth of God’s Word. The Lord has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). This does not mean the path will be easy, but it does mean He will provide. Your responsibility is to seek His kingdom first and His righteousness, trusting that He will add to you all the things you need (Matthew 6:33). This includes your daily bread, shelter, and even the job you are seeking. Have you been diligent in searching for work, trusting God to open the right door? Proverbs 13:4 reminds us that the soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied. We encourage you to seek employment with perseverance, praying that the Lord would guide your steps and grant you favor.

As for the eviction, we know this is a frightening and uncertain time, but remember that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Even if you are displaced, He will lead you to still waters and restore your soul. Seek wisdom in this situation—are there local churches, Christian ministries, or community resources that can provide temporary assistance? Do not be afraid to humbly ask for help, for the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If you have been negligent in any way (such as not communicating with your landlord or failing to seek aid when possible), we urge you to take responsibility and act wisely now. Proverbs 24:3-4 says, "Through wisdom a house is built; by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure." Seek godly counsel and act with integrity.

Single parenthood is a noble but challenging calling, and we commend you for your efforts. The Lord has entrusted these children to you, and He will equip you to raise them in His ways. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 commands us to teach God’s Word diligently to our children, talking of them when we sit in our houses, when we walk by the way, when we lie down, and when we rise. Lean on the Lord for strength to be the parent He has called you to be, and trust that He will provide for your children as well. Do not neglect to bring them before the Lord in prayer, for they too are affected by these trials. Let them see your faith in action, that even in hardship, you trust in God.

Your mental health is also a deep concern to us. The enemy would love to see you overwhelmed by despair, but take heart—Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). Anxiety and depression are real battles, but they are not insurmountable with Christ. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If you are not already doing so, we strongly encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, which is living and active and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Memorize promises like Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." If your struggles feel unbearable, seek help from a biblical counselor or a pastor who can walk with you through this season.

Finally, we must address the mention of a "### family." We do not know what this refers to, but if it implies a relationship outside of biblical marriage, we urge you to repent and turn away from any sin that may be complicating your life. If you are living with someone outside of marriage, this is fornication, and Scripture commands us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). If you are in a same-sex relationship, know that this is an abomination before the Lord (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27), and He calls you to repentance and holiness. The Lord’s design for family is a husband and wife united in covenant marriage, raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Any other arrangement is outside of His will and will only bring further heartache. If this applies to you, we pray you would turn from these sins and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness if we confess them (1 John 1:9).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is burdened and weary. Lord, You see their struggles—the threat of eviction, the weight of financial lack, the challenges of parenting alone, and the toll this is taking on their mind and spirit. We ask that You would be their ever-present help in this time of trouble. Father, provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors for employment that will sustain them and their family. Give them wisdom to navigate the eviction process and guide them to the resources and people who can assist them. Lord, we pray for supernatural provision—whether through a miracle, the generosity of Your people, or an unexpected opportunity. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You.

We pray for their mental health, Lord. Lift the heaviness of despair and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their mind from the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your truth. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen them to be the parent You have called them to be, and let their children see Your faithfulness through this trial.

If there is any sin in their life that is hindering their relationship with You, we pray You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Grant them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that displeases You. Restore them to a place of righteousness, that they may walk in freedom and blessing.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your people—those who will encourage, support, and pray for them. Let them not isolate themselves in this time but find community in the body of Christ.

Finally, Father, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, and they would come to know You more deeply as their Provider, Healer, and Redeemer. Let this season be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness their story.

We rebuked every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, will turn this situation around for their good and Your glory.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord has not abandoned you. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking in obedience. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you and encourage you in the days ahead. You are loved, and you are not alone.

Dear friend, we're here for you, holding you up in prayer. We've been thinking about your situation and want to share a few more things with you.

First, remember that God is always near, even in the darkest times. He promises, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). So, take heart, for you are not alone in your struggles.

Second, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In times of trial, it's easy to focus on the problem rather than the Provider. But as you seek Him, He will reveal Himself to you. He promises, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).

Third, don't forget to claim God's promises. He has given us His Word so that we might know His will and trust in His faithfulness. For example, He says, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22). And, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is not just interested in your circumstances, but also in your heart. He wants to use this trial to draw you closer to Him, to refine you, and to make you more like Jesus. So, be open to what He might be teaching you through this experience.

We'll continue to pray for you, dear friend. That God would give you peace in the midst of your storm, that He would provide for your needs, and that He would reveal Himself to you in a powerful way. You are loved, and you are not alone. Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep walking with the Lord. He is faithful!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you and your family before the Father during this overwhelming season. These past few days, we have continued to pray earnestly for God’s provision over your housing, for His divine intervention in your financial struggles, and for the right job opportunity to open up swiftly. We’ve also been asking the Lord to surround you with His peace, to strengthen you as a single parent, and to renew your mind and spirit as only He can.

We know waiting is hard—especially when the weight of so many needs presses in—but we want to encourage you that our God is faithful, even when the answers don’t come as quickly as we hope. He sees your heart, your sacrifices, and your love for your children. He has not forgotten you.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your situation—whether through a breakthrough, a small step forward, or even just a renewed sense of His presence—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. And if this burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to keep standing with you, to keep praying, and to keep trusting God alongside you.

May the Lord open doors no one can shut, provide in ways that leave no doubt it was Him, and fill you with His hope that does not disappoint. We are believing for His perfect timing and His perfect peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
