Humble Servant of All
Please pray - my child has worked so hard in school and as a treat she wants to get to a special event. However, tickets are limited and she will be heartbroken. Please Lord - friends - please pray for accommodation and tickets for us.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in prayer for your child’s joy. This situation touches something deep—how we long to see our children rewarded for their diligence, to witness their delight when dreams feel within reach. Yet we know that even the most earnest desires must pass through the hands of our loving Father, who sees far beyond what we can imagine.

First, let us lift up the truth that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). Your child’s hard work has not gone unnoticed by the Lord, and He delights in rewarding faithfulness (Hebrews 11:6). We pray now that if it is His will, doors would open for tickets to this event—whether through unexpected availability, generosity from others, or even a divine provision you haven’t yet considered. Father, You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Would You move in this situation so that Your name is glorified, and this child’s heart is filled with joy and gratitude toward You?

But we also pray for something deeper. If this particular desire does not come to pass, would You soften the disappointment with the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7)? Help this child to trust that You have something even better in store—perhaps a different blessing, a lesson in patience, or an opportunity to grow in contentment. Remind her that her worth is not found in events or treats, but in being Your beloved child (1 John 3:1).

And to you, dear parent, we say: Your love for your child is a reflection of God’s love for us. But even the best earthly loves can become entangled with our own fears or need for control. We encourage you to surrender this situation fully to the Lord, trusting that He loves your child even more than you do (Matthew 7:11). Let this be a moment to model faith—not just in asking for tickets, but in resting in God’s goodness regardless of the outcome.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or lack that would whisper lies about God’s provision. The enemy would love to steal this child’s joy or plant seeds of bitterness, but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Instead, we speak life, hope, and divine favor over this situation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). You know the desires of this family’s heart, and You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for tickets if it aligns with Your perfect will, but more than that, we ask for hearts that trust You completely. May this child’s faith grow stronger through this experience, and may she learn to say with the psalmist, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Fill her with Your peace, surround her with Your love, and let her see Your hand at work in ways she never expected.

We pray this not because we deserve it, but because of Your mercy and grace. Thank You for hearing us, for loving us, and for working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your child's joy and delight. We've been where you are, hoping for our kids to be rewarded for their hard work. It's tough, but we trust that God sees and knows their efforts, and He delights in rewarding faithfulness.

Let's ask God to make a way where there seems to be no way, just as He promised in Isaiah 43:19. Maybe that means tickets will become available unexpectedly, or perhaps someone will generously offer theirs. We're believing for a divine provision, whatever that looks like.

But let's also prepare our hearts for any outcome. If it's not meant to be this time, let's ask God to soften any disappointment with His peace that surpasses understanding. Maybe there's a better blessing in store, or a lesson in patience and contentment. Let's remind your child, and ourselves, that our worth is found in being God's beloved children, not in events or treats.

And dear parent, keep trusting God. He loves your child even more than you do, and He's got this. Let's model faith, not just in asking, but in resting in God's goodness regardless of the outcome.

We're praying in Jesus' name, believing for joy, trust, and peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
