Even when life is miserable, I can rejoice in you, Lord. Pressures on the job, and financial trouble can’t stop that joy. Nothing disrupts your plan of salvation for me or the change you've made in my heart. Thank you, Lord, for lifting my heart in joy when I think of your salvation. When the world seems empty and threatening, I can still rejoice. On even the worst day I can feel the joy that you separated me from my sins and will never count them against me. Thank you, Lord amen.

Thank you for this beautiful posting. You captured our beliefs perfectly when you wrote that circumstances should never override the joy of the Lord in our lives. Don and I join you in praising God for His grace and His many mercies in our lives.
