Neither the devil nor anyone else has stolen anything from my hometown. My hometown has simply been misled by those who twist the scriptures to gain followers for themselves. Therefore, I will go over the following scripture again.
Matthew 10:42 (NIV) "And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink because he is my disciple, truly I tell you, he will not lose his reward."
Matthew 10:42 (NIV) "And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink because he is my disciple, truly I tell you, he will not lose his reward."
- The most important part of this scripture is that the spirit of belief is required: first in Jesus; then, in that the one being served is Jesus's disciple.
- There must also be an attitude of compassion, hospitality, and cheerfulness. Humility, which seeks nothing in return.
- The reward is something that you already have, but because of iniquity, may be at risk of losing. You can delve into it deeper, but it seems like this particular good deed serves as atonement: not for a city, but the individual.
- It is in this service that, along with the unbegrudged spirit of belief that you yourself also serve as a disciple of Christ.
- The reward itself is eternity with God in heaven.
How absolutely beautiful. Far greater than winning a ball game, receiving a trophy, which is never specifically promised, is the reward of eternity with God in heaven.
If a city has been misled into the sickness of unintentional blasphemy, there is balm in Gilead. The only cure is immediate cease and desist.
James 5:16 (NKJV)
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Where are your shepherds? Is there no royal priesthood?
Again, the prophet's reward comes through believing, receiving, and honoring the prophet as a prophet. But, exactly as Jesus prophesied, that has not been my experience in my hometown. So then, how do you propose to submit claims for a prophet's reward to an omniscient God, but respond in anger towards His servant when He adjusts and denies those claims based on all the evidence? Does He not know?
But now the LORD says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. [1 Samuel 2:30b]

Provocation, Manipulation, Intimidation, Exploitation
That's not of God
There is no repentance for continued intentional blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
