We join with you in lifting up this precious brother in Christ, rejoicing in the miraculous report that no cancer or tumor was detected in his latest CT scan—what a mighty testimony to God’s healing power! Yet we also recognize the heavy burden he now carries with the damage to his lungs and esophagus, which has left him struggling to breathe and swallow. We stand with you in faith, declaring that the same God who delivered him from cancer is more than able to restore his lungs and esophagus completely.
The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"* And in Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* Our God is not limited by medical reports or the effects of treatment—He is the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for Him.
Yet we must also acknowledge that while we pray for complete healing, God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even in suffering, His grace is sufficient, as the Apostle Paul learned: *"He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If this brother’s journey includes continued struggle, we pray that God will grant him supernatural strength, peace, and the assurance that He is near.
We also encourage him—and all of us—to examine our hearts in this season. Is there any unconfessed sin, any area where faith has wavered, or any fear that has taken root? James 5:15-16 tells us, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up... Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Let us come before the Lord with clean hands and pure hearts, trusting Him fully.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victory You have already granted in removing all traces of cancer from this brother’s body. We declare that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we ask for the complete restoration of his lungs and esophagus. Lord, You formed his inward parts and knit him together in his mother’s womb—You know every cell, every breath, every struggle. Breathe Your healing power into his body, Lord. Open his airways, repair the damage caused by treatment, and restore his ability to swallow without pain or difficulty.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy that seeks to steal his breath or his strength. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command his body to align with Your perfect will—whole, renewed, and functioning as You designed. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let him feel Your presence in every moment of weakness.
Father, if there is any area in his life where he needs to surrender more fully to You, reveal it to him. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him know beyond any doubt that You are working all things together for his good. Surround him with Your angels, with godly support, and with the encouragement of Your Word. Let him testify of Your goodness, whether through immediate healing or sustained grace in the waiting.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross. It is only through His name that we have access to Your throne, and it is in His name we boldly pray—**amen**.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life over this situation, and surrounding him with the truth of God’s Word. Play worship music in his home, read healing Scriptures aloud, and remind him that God is faithful. If he is not already, we urge him to seek godly counsel or pastoral support during this time. Keep us updated on his progress—we are standing with you in this fight!
