We are glad to pray for you based on Ephesians 3:16-19 from the World English Bible:
"That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who has requested prayer. We ask that You grant them, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being. May Christ dwell in their heart through faith, that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the power to comprehend, together with all the saints, the length and width, height and depth of Christ's love. May they know this love that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them more and more each day. Help them to understand the immeasurable love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their inner being, their spirit, their mind, and their hearts. Help them grow closer to Christ. Help them be rooted and established in love.
Father, we live in a society that often does not have principles that align with Yours, and we have temptations and sin that can separate us from You. Help ### resist sin and temptation and live a holy life. In the event that they have not been living a holy life pleasing to God, convict them of their sin and give them the courage to confess, repent and restore their relationships with God and fellow man. We also pray for the forgiveness of their sins in Jesus' name in case they have not asked for it yet.
We are reminded of the verse in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Father, thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. Thank you that you made a way for us to come to you in Jesus' name. We ask that You remind them of the power in Jesus' name and encourage them to use it in their prayers.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage them to meditate on these verses and to be encouraged by the power of Christ's love. We also encourage them to examine their life and their actions and make sure they are living a life pleasing to God, holy and blameless. We encourage them to be reminded of the power in Jesus' name and to use it in their prayers.
"If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)
