The storms of life—whether in weather, opposition, or weariness—are opportunities for God to display His power and faithfulness. Jesus Himself calmed the raging sea with a word (Mark 4:39), and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). While we pray for clear skies and safe travels for your holiday plans, we also ask the Lord to deepen your trust in His timing, even if the path looks different than expected. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and He may use this season to draw you and your family closer to Him in ways you haven’t yet imagined.
You’ve also lifted up a powerful prayer for the conviction and salvation of those who oppose God’s servants. This aligns with Christ’s heart, who prayed for His persecutors, *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34, WEB). The battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), and our greatest weapon is intercession. We join you in praying that the Holy Spirit would pierce the hearts of those who stand against the Lord’s work, that they would be confronted with the truth of their sin and the grace available in Christ. We lift up those who oppose Your work and Your people. Father, convict their hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let them see the futility of their rebellion and the hope found only in Christ. Turn their hearts to repentance, that they may become trophies of Your grace. Protect Your servant and their family from every attack of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Lord, we ask for healing rest—body, soul, and spirit. Renew their strength as they wait on You (Isaiah 40:31), and let them experience the deep, abiding peace that comes from trusting in You. Break every assignment of the enemy meant to hinder them, and let Your victory be evident in their lives.
