Enough of that rubbish

Faithful Servant
Enough of that rubbish now I prefer to trust myself and relinquish the Christianity myth and stop going to church and stop all associated with the Bible and prayer and it seemed like I had to rely on myself rather than Jesus Christ. The more I depend on him the more disappointed I am in him so now everything said and done. BYE

Oh, beloved, our hearts are deeply grieved to hear you speaking this way, for we recognize the voice of bitter disappointment and the enemy’s lies seeking to pull you away from the very Source of life and truth. You say you prefer to trust yourself, but let us ask you this: has self-reliance ever truly satisfied the deepest longings of your soul? Has it brought you peace, hope, or lasting joy? The Scriptures warn us in Jeremiah 17:5, *"Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh."* And again in Proverbs 3:5-6, we are commanded, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

You speak of Jesus Christ as though He has failed you, but we must gently and urgently remind you that disappointment often comes not from His failure, but from our own misplaced expectations or unrepented sin that hinders our walk with Him. The problem is never with His faithfulness—it is with our limited perspective. In 2 Timothy 2:13, we read, *"If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he can’t deny himself."* He has never abandoned you, even if it feels that way. The enemy wants you to believe that God is distant or uncaring, but Jesus Himself said in Matthew 28:20, *"I am with you always, even to the end of the age."*

You mention relying on yourself rather than Christ, but let us ask you this: where has that led you? The burden of self-reliance is crushing, and it was never meant to be carried alone. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He is not the author of your disappointment—He is the One who longs to lift that weight from your shoulders. Perhaps the issue is not that He has failed you, but that you have not fully surrendered to His will or trusted His timing. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and what feels like silence or delay is often His merciful work in shaping you for something greater.

You say, "BYE," as if walking away from Christ is the solution, but we must warn you with love and urgency: there is no true life, peace, or hope outside of Him. Jesus said in John 15:5, *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."* To turn from Him is to turn toward emptiness, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Him, you are left with only the fleeting and hollow promises of this world.

We do not know what pains or unmet expectations have led you to this place, but we plead with you to reconsider. Bring your disappointments to Him—He can handle your honesty! The Psalms are filled with raw cries to God in moments of despair, yet they always return to trust in His faithfulness. Psalm 73:26 declares, *"My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."* Even in your anger or doubt, He is waiting for you to turn back to Him. He is not offended by your questions; He longs for you to seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

Let us pray for you now, with broken hearts but unwavering hope in the power of Christ to redeem and restore:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this beloved soul who is walking away from You, believing the lie that self-reliance is better than trusting in Your perfect love and sovereignty. Lord, we know that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You pursue this precious one with Your relentless love. Open their eyes to see that the disappointment they feel is not from You, but from the brokenness of this world and the schemes of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

Softens their heart, Lord. Remind them of the times You have been faithful, even when they could not see it. Draw them back to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Let them encounter You in a way they cannot deny—whether through Your Word, a dream, a godly friend, or a supernatural touch that shatters their unbelief. Break the stronghold of pride and self-sufficiency that has taken root, and replace it with humble dependence on You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and bitterness that is leading them astray. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the truth of Your love will triumph in their life. Bring them to a place of surrender, where they can lay down their disappointments at the foot of the cross and receive Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there is unconfessed sin or unhealed wounds that have caused them to stumble, reveal it to them and grant them the courage to repent and turn back to You. Surround them with believers who will speak life and truth into their situation. Do not let them go, Father. Pursue them relentlessly until they are restored to Your fold.

We declare that their story is not over. You are the God of redemption, and You specialize in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Let this season of rebellion be short-lived, and let their testimony be one of Your grace and mercy triumphing over doubt and despair.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, we urge you: do not harden your heart. Today, if you hear His voice, do not reject it (Hebrews 3:15). The door of grace is still open, but none of us are promised tomorrow. Run to Him while there is time. He is waiting for you with open arms.

We understand your frustration, dear friend. It's like you've been walking in a dense fog, feeling your way, and now you're tired of it all. But we want you to know, we're here with you, praying for you, and we believe that Jesus is too. He hasn't abandoned you; He's right there, waiting for you to turn back to Him.

You've mentioned relinquishing your faith and stopping church, but we want to remind you that God is not distant or uncaring. He's right here, longing for you to come to Him, just as He said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's not the author of your disappointment; He's the One who wants to lift that burden from your shoulders.

We know that disappointment can be overwhelming, but it often comes from our own misplaced expectations or unrepented sin. It's never from God's failure, but from our limited perspective. In 2 Timothy 2:13, we read, "If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself." He's always faithful, even when it doesn't feel like it.

Let's not forget, Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." There's no true life, peace, or hope outside of Him. Turning away from Him is turning towards emptiness, because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

We don't know what pains or unmet expectations have led you to this point, but we urge you to bring your disappointments to Him. He can handle your honesty. Even in your anger or doubt, He's waiting for you to turn back to Him. He's not offended by your questions; He longs for you to seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

Let's pray for you, dear friend. We pray that God would open your eyes to see that the disappointment you feel is not from Him, but from the brokenness of this world and the schemes of the enemy. We pray that He would soften your heart and remind you of the times He's been faithful to you. We pray that He would draw you back to Himself with cords of love and break the stronghold of pride and self-sufficiency in your life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
