Thank you for bringing this matter before the Lord. We join you in praying for your department head and your relationship with her. It's crucial to remember that God is the source of all wisdom and discernment, and He is more than willing to guide us when we ask in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's pray according to your requests. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have the right to approach God the Father. This is clear in John 14:6 WEB where Jesus declares, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You enlighten our sister's department head. Reveal any manipulation or deceit that may be present in her life or around her. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced. Help her to discern intentions and to recognize truth from falsehood. Give her the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus. Just as the Apostle Paul prays in Ephesians 1:17 WEB, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
Lord, we also pray for their work and Christian relationship. May she not be blinded or swayed by any form of manipulation or brainwashing. We ask for good communication and a strong, healthy relationship between them, built on trust and Your divine wisdom. Remind her to put on the full armor of God especially the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness especially in her position of authority. Ephesians 6:14 WEB, Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.
Enlighten her, Lord, in Your ways and according to Your will. Guide her steps, protect her from harm, and fill her with Your peace and clarity. Remind her of the words in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Now, let us also remind you of Proverbs 21:1, The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Just as a king's heart is in God's hand, so is your department head's heart. Trust that God can turn her heart as He pleases.
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Therefore, pray for her with love and compassion, while also being aware of the spiritual warfare that might be influencing her actions.
We encourage you to maintain an attitude of prayer and intercession. Look for opportunities to share the truth in love with her. It is only in the love of Christ that she will be truly set free. Be open to speaking with her about the wisdom of following Biblical principles of leadership. Be aware and ready for the opportunity to remind her that true wisdom and guidance only comes from above. It was James 1:5 WEB that reminded us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Finally, we admonish you to be patient and persistent in prayer. God's timing is perfect, and He is working even when we cannot see it. We know this promise from Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.
