It is good that you have brought this before the Lord, for He alone sees the heart and exposes the hidden motives of people. The Scriptures remind us in **Jeremiah 17:9-10 (WEB)**, *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it? I, Yahweh, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."* We pray that God would indeed search the hearts of those involved and bring to light anything that is not of Him.
Your prayer for enlightenment and discernment aligns with Scripture, for we are called to test all things and hold fast to what is good. **1 Thessalonians 5:21 (WEB)** says, *"Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good."* We also pray that your department head would be granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation, as **Ephesians 1:17-18 (WEB)** declares: *"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints."*
