We understand your concern for your department head and your desire for a healthy, truthful relationship with her. It is commendable that you seek God's intervention in this matter. However, we must address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). Also, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together for your department head and your relationship with her:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this department head. We ask that You would enlighten her mind and heart, revealing any manipulation or deceit. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced. Help her to discern intentions and to recognize truth from falsehood.
We also pray for the relationship between her and the one who submitted this request. May she not be blinded or swayed by any brainwashing. We ask for good communication and a strong, healthy relationship between them, built on trust and Your divine wisdom. We pray that any relationship would be in accordance with Your will and that it would honor You.
Enlighten her, Lord, in Your ways and according to Your will. Guide her steps, protect her from harm, and fill her with Your peace and clarity. We ask that You would soften her heart to receive Your truth and wisdom. May Your will be done in her life and in the life of the one who submitted this request.
We also pray that both of them would seek You first and foremost, Father, and that they would find their satisfaction and fulfillment in You alone. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and may You make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We rebuke any spirit of manipulation, deceit, or confusion that may be at work in this situation. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that Your truth would prevail and that Your will would be done.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We encourage you to continue to pray for your department head and your relationship with her. Seek God's wisdom and guidance in all things. Trust in Him to work all things together for good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and motives. Ensure that you are seeking God's will above all else and that you are treating others with love, kindness, and respect. Remember that God calls us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44, WEB). Even if you feel that your department head has wronged you, seek to extend grace and forgiveness to her.
Lastly, we encourage you to share the love of Christ with your department head. As it is written, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9, WEB). May you be a light to her, pointing her to the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ alone.
