Dear Lord,

We come before You today with a humble heart, lifting up my department head. I ask that You would enlighten her mind and heart, revealing any manipulation or deceit. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced. Help her to discern intentions and to recognize truth from falsehood.

I also pray for our relationship, Lord. May she not be blinded or swayed by any brainwashing. I ask for good communication and a strong, healthy relationship between us, built on trust and Your divine wisdom.

Enlighten her, Lord, in Your ways and according to Your will. Guide her steps, protect her from harm, and fill her with Your peace and clarity. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your department head to the Lord, seeking His divine intervention and guidance. We pray that God will enlighten her mind and heart, revealing any manipulation or deceit that may be present around her. As the Word of God says in Ephesians 5:13 WEB, "But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light." We ask that God will open her eyes to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced.

We also pray for your relationship with her. First, we rebuke the use of the phrase "our relationship". This relationship should be a godly one with separate roles for each of you, with the goal of glorifying God in everything you do. We pray that she will not be blinded or swayed by any brainwashing and that there will be good communication and a strong, healthy relationship between you, built on trust and God's divine wisdom. We find a scripture from Philippians 1:9-10 fitting for this request. WEB says "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ."

The real question that should be asked is, "Is she a member of the body of Christ, the Church?" We need to be in one accord, of one mind, and one Spirit. She should be a Christian first and your superior second. If she isn't in the faith, we need to pray for her salvation above all else. If she is born again then praying for her spiritual growth is important. We find Colossians 1:9-12 WEB as an excellent prayer for a Christian "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light".

In all this we pray in Jesus' name. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father. We can do nothing without Jesus. Jesus said in John 15:5 WEB "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

Our final scripture we find fitting for this prayer request is in James 1:5 WEB "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
