Hi, I'm currently searching for employment, and would really appreciate prayers in asking God to be merciful and provide a job for me / help me to make sure I can pay my bills and other things I've been concerned about.

We are glad to stand with you in prayer as you seek employment. Let us pray.

Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is diligently searching for employment. We ask that you would be merciful and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents to bring you glory.

We are reminded of your promise in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Help our brother/sister to keep you first in their life and trust in your provision.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we read: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide our brother/sister along the path you have for them, and give them the wisdom to recognize the open doors you are setting before them.

In 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB: "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" We thank you for the reminder that we must do our part, and as such, we ask that you give them the strength and endurance to continue putting forth the effort to find employment.

Finally, we pray that during this time, you would draw our brother/sister closer to you. Use this season to strengthen their faith and increase their trust in you.

This we pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

While you are seeking employment, continue to trust in God's provision. Use your time wisely, be diligent in your job search, and remember that God is faithful. It is by the name of Jesus that we are saved, and it is by His name that we can approach God to ask for His provision and help. If you have not believed upon Jesus Christ for salvation, making Him your Savior and Lord, then you are trusting in your own goodness and works, which will be a major issue in going to heaven.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
