Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We come before you with hearts burdened yet hopeful, lifting up this dear brother in Christ who is wrestling with doubt, weariness, and the weight of unmet longing. We hear the cry of his heart—his deep desire for stable employment, his yearning for a godly marriage for his family, and his frustration with what feels like delayed answers from God. Yet we must first address the dangerous place his heart has wandered into, for his words reveal a trembling faith on the verge of collapse. Let us speak truth in love, for the Lord disciplines those He loves, and His ways are not our ways.

Beloved, your pain is seen, and your weariness is understood, but we must gently yet firmly rebuke the spirit of unbelief that has begun to take root in your words. You have said, *"Henceforth, I don’t believe God and His Mercy or Grace"* and *"God is very very slow in acting."* These words grieve the Holy Spirit, for they accuse the Father of faithlessness, when in truth, He is the very author of faith itself. The Scripture warns us in **Hebrews 3:12-13 (WEB)**, *"Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there will be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today’; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."* Your frustration is real, but let it not harden your heart against the One who holds your future. Remember **Habakkuk 2:3 (WEB)**, *"For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay."* God is not slow as we count slowness—He is patient, and His timing is perfect.

You have also said, *"There is No God’s Grace! There is No God’s Mercy!"*—but this is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to steal your hope. The very fact that you are still breathing, still able to seek Him, still surrounded by family, is evidence of His mercy. **Lamentations 3:22-23 (WEB)** declares, *"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."* Even in the waiting, His grace sustains you. Do not let impatience blind you to the daily mercies you *have* received.

Now, let us turn to your requests with hearts aligned to Scripture, trusting that God hears and will act in His perfect will.

**On Employment:**
You have labored diligently for over two years, preparing and seeking a permanent government position where you might use your skills to glorify God. We praise you for your desire to honor Him in your work, and we ask the Lord to open the right door—*His* door—for you. **Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)** says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Yet we must also remind you that your worth is not in a title or salary, but in Christ alone. If the Lord provides a temporary position first, trust that He is refining you for what lies ahead. We pray that in this next interview and written test, the Lord would go before you, giving you favor as He did for Daniel in the courts of Babylon. **"For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another." (Psalm 75:6-7, WEB).** May your skills and testimony shine brightly, and may the Lord’s will—*not merely your desire*—be done.

**On Marriage for Your Family:**
You seek a godly spouse for your family member—a man who is a doctor, with good habits, and strong earnings. While it is good to desire a spouse who can provide and reflects Christlike character, we must caution you against placing undue emphasis on worldly standards like wealth or profession. **1 Timothy 6:6-8 (WEB)** warns, *"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."* Pray instead for a man after God’s own heart, one who loves the Lord more than his career, who will lead his home in righteousness. The same applies to your own future marriage—seek first the Kingdom of God, and trust that He will add these things to you in His time.

We also note that you mention *"good habits and no bad habits"*—this is wise, for a spouse must be free from addictions, deceit, or ungodly behaviors. But remember, no human is perfect; only Christ is. Pray for discernment to recognize a man who is *pursuing* holiness, not one who claims perfection.

**On Your Own Future Marriage:**
You mention preparing for your own marriage after your family member’s. We rejoice in your desire for a godly union! But we urge you: do not rush ahead of God’s timing. **Ecclesiastes 3:1 (WEB)** tells us, *"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."* Use this season to grow in your walk with Christ, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and to prepare yourself to be a godly husband. Pray that the Lord would mold you into a man who loves as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, patiently, and selflessly.

**On Housing, Clinic, and Ministry:**
Your desire to buy a house, run a dental clinic, and provide education to the poor is commendable—it reflects a heart for stewardship and generosity. Yet we caution you: do not let these goals become idols. **Matthew 6:33 (WEB)** commands, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If these dreams align with His will, He will provide. But if they become demands rather than surrendered desires, they will lead only to more frustration.

**On Travel and Safety:**
We lift up your train travels and those of your family, asking the Lord to surround you with His angels, as He did for Elisha in **2 Kings 6:17**. May He grant you safe, timely journeys, free from delay or harm.

**On Your Crisis of Faith:**
This is the most urgent matter. You say you are *"almost lost"* your faith, and that if the situation continues, you will *"fully lose"* it. Beloved, this is a spiritual battle! **Ephesians 6:12 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy wants you to let go of God’s hand in despair. But we declare over you: **DO NOT LET GO.** Cling to Christ, even when you cannot see the shore. Remember **Mark 9:24 (WEB)**, where the father cried out, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* That is the prayer you must pray now.

---
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for our brother, who stands at the edge of unbelief, weary from waiting. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, the God who acts in perfect timing. Forgive him for the words spoken in frustration, and renew his trust in Your goodness. Remind him of Your faithfulness in the past—how You have sustained him, provided for him, and brought him this far.

We ask for Your divine intervention in his employment. If it is Your will, open the door for a permanent government position where he may serve You and testify of Your mercy. But even if the answer tarries, give him the grace to trust You in the temporary roles, knowing that You waste nothing. Let every interview, every test, be an opportunity to glorify Your name.

For his family’s marriages, we pray for godly spouses—men and women who fear You above all else. Guard their hearts from idolatry of wealth or status, and let them seek first Your Kingdom. Prepare our brother himself to be a godly husband, rooted in Your Word and led by Your Spirit.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair that has sought to choke his faith. Fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that he may say with Job, *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him"* (Job 13:15). Restore his joy in You, his hope in Your promises, and his confidence in Your love.

We ask for safety in travel, provision for their home and clinic, and opportunities to bless the poor—all for Your glory. And above all, we pray that he would encounter You anew, that his faith would not fail, and that he would stand firm to the end.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**

---
**Final Exhortation:**
Brother, we urge you: do not walk away from the Lord in this hour. The waiting is painful, but **Romans 8:28 (WEB)** promises, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Your story is not over. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not abandon you. Repent of the unbelief in your words, and let this season draw you *closer* to Him, not farther away.

If you feel your faith slipping, surround yourself with believers who can encourage you. Read the Psalms—David’s raw, honest cries to God—and see how the Lord remained faithful. And remember: even if the answer comes differently than you hoped, **He is still good.** Trust Him. Wait on Him. And do not let go.

Dear Beloved in Christ,

We hear your heart's cry and we are here to lift you up in prayer, just as you have lifted up others. We understand your frustration and your weariness, but we want to remind you that our God is a God who sees, who hears, and who acts in His perfect timing.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to hold onto your faith, dear brother. We know that it's hard, and it might feel like you're almost lost, but remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:13, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." We are praying that you would endure, that you would not let go of your faith in this hour.

We also want to remind you of the promises of God. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it is written, "It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Even in the waiting, even in the delay, God's mercies are new every morning. Trust in His faithfulness.

Now, let's bring your requests before the Lord:

1. **Employment:** We pray that the Lord would open the right door for you, according to His will. We ask that you would trust Him with the outcome, whether it be a temporary or permanent position. Remember, your worth is not in a title or salary, but in Christ alone. As it is written in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

2. **Marriage for Your Family:** We ask that the Lord would provide a godly spouse for your family member, a man after God's own heart. We pray that they would be free from addictions, deceit, or ungodly behaviors. We also pray that you would prepare yourself to be a godly husband, seeking first the Kingdom of God.

3. **Your Future Marriage:** We rejoice with you in your desire for a godly union. We pray that the Lord would prepare you in this season, molding you into a man who loves as Christ loves the church. We also ask that the Lord would reveal His timing to you.

4. **Housing, Clinic, and Ministry:** We praise God for your desire to be a good steward and to bless others. We pray that the Lord would provide for these dreams, if they align with His will. We ask that you would seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add these things to you.

5. **Travel and Safety:** We lift up your travels and those of your family to the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His angels, as He did for Elisha. We pray for safe, timely journeys, free from delay or harm.

6. **Your Crisis of Faith:** Beloved, we urge you to hold onto your faith. We declare over you, "Do not let go." Remember the father in Mark 9:24, who cried out, "I believe! Help my unbelief!" That is the prayer you must pray now.

Dear brother, we urge you to repent of any unbelief in your words, and let this season draw you closer to the Lord, not farther away. Trust in Him, wait on Him, and do not let go.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
A fellow believer
