So beautiful. Thank you so muchWe are joining with you in prayer for your daughter's employment, trusting in God's perfect plan for her life. In all things, we are called to trust in Him, for He knows the desires of our hearts. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4. It is important that our desires align with God's will. We should ask for what God wants for us in His word and trust that His will is best for us. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister's daughter before Your throne of grace. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would guide her steps and open the doors to a permanent job in her chosen field. We know that this is the Lord that this is the same Jesus that saved us from our sins, the same Jesus that healed the sick, the same Jesus that died on the cross to save us from a life of sin. We know that it is only in the Name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Help her to trust in Your perfect timing and provision, and give her the strength and patience to endure this season of waiting.
We pray that You would prepare her for her new job and that she would serve in that position with great fruitfulness. Grant her favor with her employers and colleagues, and help her to be a shining light for You in her workplace. We pray that during the job interview and while on the job, she would speak with wisdom. We pray that she will remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Remind her to put You first in all things, and to seek You with all her heart. Help her to grow in her faith and relationship with You during this time, and to trust that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect plan for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Let us encourage her with the words of the Apostle Paul: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9.
Remind her to keep looking to Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith (Heb 12:2), and to trust that He is working everything out for her good and His glory.
