All my life ive felt not good enuff at anything,ive even been told by people close to me that im no good at things i try, and bcos ive lived with criticism i have no confidence in anything i try to do,its like a burdon on me when i try to go forward,the fear that im going to fail bcos im no good haunts me, can u pls pray with me. God loves you! Because He loves you, Jesus died for you! Because Jesus died for you, He wants you to trust Him.
Here's truth. If you are a Christian, you have been born again, which means you are a new man in Christ. Which means, that whatever anyone ever said about you not being good at things, they are not being truthful. Why? Because in Christ, you can do all things through Him, because He strengthens you. Your confidence is in God. Not in man and not in yourself, but in who God has called you out of darkness and into marvelous light.
In Christ, You have been made more than a conqueror, you are an overcomer, triumphant and victorious. Why? Because, in Christ, that is who God created you to be. You have talents and gifts no one else has. You have in you, as a 'son' of God all the potential that God poured into you...you just don't know it...cause people have not encouraged you to press into the truth of the word of God.
I encourage you, Charlie, to get into the word. Get established in the word of God and as you do, as you begin to believe that what God says about you is true (and you will find this as you read 'in him' 'in whom' 'in Christ' 'in Jesus' for example...if any man be 'in Christ' he is a new creation...'in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins'. Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians good books to get who you are in Christ.
Father, thank you for Charlie. Thank you that you have created him unique, just as we all are unique. Father, give Charlie revelation of who he is in Christ. That he is NOT a failure and that in Christ, he can do all things. I pray for godly, spirit filled and led believers to come into his life. Holy Spirit, thank you for being Charlie's comforter and Counselor. Open his eyes to see truth and his ears to hear the wonderful news of the gospel. Greater is He that is in Charlie, than he that is in the world. Thank you for this amazing person you created him to be, an overcomer, triumphant and victorious in Christ.
