Emotional Distress

I don't want to live anymore. Divorced, unemployed, lonely, broke. Living alone in a small cottage miles away from others. My only contact to others is my weekly trip for groceries. This has been going on for too long. I'm born-again Christian for 12 years, but I can't hear His voice or see His will in my life. I seem always to make the wrong choices and decisions in my life because of that, so I have truly tried to find Him. I also ask you to pray for the restoration of my marriage. She doesn't want to be part of my life for a reason. I have let her down in everything. I've been praying for Jesus to give me a job as a Commercial Pilot, restoring my marriage and my life and giving a purpose for it, but not to avail. I just want to die. Please help.

Lord please grant needs requested and remember you need not die as Jesus has already sacrificed his life so you have no need to ever die but have everlasting life in him. You shall live and not die in Jesus name. I am praying for you very earnestly. Do not give up. It is not the end of the story. Do not listen to your understanding and the lies of the enemy. God has you in His Hands. He will heal your emotions and your pain in time or miraculously. I know what I am talking about. I have been an unemployed single mother for over 2 years with a h ealth problem. I just had surgery, I have no husband and my son just moved out. God loves you right where you are and He has a great plan for your life, even though it looks extremely dark. It is so difficult to be alone, I understand. Do not give up, God is in the process of seeing you through this horrible season. This to shall pass and you will see his Wonderful Light again in your heart. Cast all the care you have on Him, everything! Don't hold back. You have a big church family on line here where people of God are compassionate and care about each other and you too. We need each other and draw strength from that. I will speak for many people on this prayer site, they are praying right now for you and keep praying for you. Refocus away from your situation just for a time and focus on God and His love for you. Let all the cares drop off like burdens off a donkey. God is the lifter and the glory of your soul. You can and will make it. I am praying earnestly for you! God has not forgotten you. He is right there with you, you just may not be able to see Him but He is there in the presence and power and glory of the Holy Spirit.

belovedaboveall is correct. Christ has already, once and for all, purchased your salvation, healing, and life on the cross even if you were the only one He died for. He loves you so much to go to that extreme willingly. You will see a purpose to your life again, I promise. Just yesterday, I was at my end. I have no purpose as well, I thought. The enemy lies to us. DO NOT believe his lies. The Truth is God has a good plan for your life and plan to give you a future and a hope. I am a college graduate and had to go on public assistance and my kids are helping me as well. I felt the same way as you

No friends, no church home, no job, no money, no purpose and no plans. God in His infinite wisdom knows our personality and what we can handle and when to step in. Just seek Him even when it hurts the most. He really is there and is listening and working for you behind the scenes. Yesterday, suddently, I got online to this prayer page. I met some friends who prayed for me. I don't even know them but there was a change in me. A hope rose up that I did not have for years and could have never done it by myself. God knows and God cares. He will answer you! You may be right smack in the middle of your sorrow and trials but that does not mean you will stay there. The only Way to get out is to grab on to Jesus Christ with everything you have. Call out to Him boldly with fervence and forcefully. He is the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life. Give Him a chance. Hope is deep within you and Deep calls to Deep. Remember you have many people praying for you and caring for you on the site. I got a good idea. Just by faith start counting your blessings, no matter how small. thank God for your shoes and your cottage and a way to get to the grocery store and anything else you can think of. We are not giving up and don't you give up either. I am very sure God has me tell you this because I have been going through th e similar situation. Whether you believe it or not, we are all the body of Christ and we need each other. Someone out there needs your story as well so don't ever ever think you are not needed. God is safely carrying you through this storm of loneliness in your life, just relax in his arms. Be of good courage, God has not forgotten you, you are part of His Plan and you are needed very much!

Dear Beloved and Special Child Of Christ Jesus, (((((Cirrus))))), I Am Most Happy To Pray With You For Your Cause!

" .... but I can't hear His voice or see His will in my life." This is an important KEY on why things have not gone the way for you that you would like or expect.

When one cannot hear God's voice it is generally because they have somehow closed up to the Divine experience. And without hearing His voice it is likewise difficult to know His will unless He directs you in some other way. But God expects each and every person to keep their inner ear fully open in order to hear His voice each and every day as He directs your daily life.

One way to restore your hearing of God's word is to ask in prayer for the Divine connection to your very soul. Ask God to bring forth His special understanding unto you on this matter. Pray over it many times until you hear an answer. Understand that at this point you are praying for the special Divine connection from God to you so that you will hear Him. Do not try to mix any other prayers along with this request. You will have ample opportunity to pray for whatever else you need in your life as soon as you have prayed for this.

Do not stop praying just because you may not be successful in obtaining that connection the first time you ask for it. Remember that God always knows best and will respond at the appropriate time. Have patience during this test of your faith, belief, and trust in God.

When things start to happen with a turn for the worse and then the "domino effect" happens with everything else falling apart in one's life, it strongly signals an examination of conscience is needed as to what the cause may be and how one has lost their connection to God. When one is not connected to God He cannot be so connected to them in order to be able to help in the way we would like. Therefore, ask yourself what has caused this dis-connection in your life. This is a time for bringing things full circle to where they need to be with absolutely no sugar-coating so that you can understand things from the perspective that you have laid out for yourself.

Your mention of not wanting to live anymore and wanting to die is exactly the opposite of what God wants and expects for your life right now. He wants you to be strong to meet the challenges of the day and emerge Victorious with a new understanding of His will! But in order to do that you need to own up to many things and they are things that are obviously personal to you and that you need to therefore examine carefully and then move to correct them. Forgiveness of others is a Special KEY that works wonders for anyone! That is also a great way for God to forgive you and bring many blessings into your life!

If you are plagued by suicidal thoughts, and I pray you are not as that is never right under any circumstances no matter how you may feel at the time because time moves forward and there will always come a day when you will see that you finally came through and made it and if you had not been here to experience that breakthrough you would have left others very sad about things including yourself, in the Afterlife.

God will CAUSE you to hear His Voice. He knows we are sheep led astray by the stranger and He leaves the ninety nine and goes after the one that has strayed. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and Helper. A helper is someone who helps when we cannot. He weeps with those that weep and you will have joy again for weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.

My precious Father in heaven, keep your ever present, ever loving arms around this dear man through this difficult season. Give him that deep inner knowinig that You ARE a very present help in time of trouble and father, I know you love Him so much and you are working a great plan for his life, one that he cannot see now but give him a sense to just accept and go forward each day, each minute by faith alone. For we all know as christians, that without faith it is impossible to please you. Each morning as he gets up, let him face the day by faith alone as he gets closer to your good purpose and plan for his life and your joy and peace unfolds. Father, I ask you sustain him and carry him and be the friend that sticks closer than a brother. Father, I thank you that in time, when he is through this trial of heartache, you will show him and he will look back and know that you did use this time for God's purposes. WHEN YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES

Cirrus, please never ever think about ever giving up, taking your life,or doing anything foolish, or any such thing. God loves you, and He will provide a way for these troubles to be solved. We must receive the promises of God through faith. Be confident that what the Lord has promised will come to pass. If we meet the conditions that He has set forth in His Word then we can confidently claim those promises by faith. Read all the promises and the conditions that you must meet and if you meet those conditions then the Lord will be faithful to grant to you what you lay hold of. Never let the enemy steal away God's promises from your life. The enemy does this through getting you to be depressed and hopeless. We cannot lay hold of God's promises unless we have faith and expect Him to come through for us. We receive everything from God through our faith and obedience to Him. If you have cleansed your way and are walking closely with God in obedience then ask from Him what you need and expect His miracle-working power to flow into your situation. Give Him your problems and let Him take of your situation. Be like Jacob and seek God with all your heart and grab hold of Him and tell Him you wont let go until He blesses you (Gen. 32:26)! Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I bring all of Cirrus' needs before You. I pray for Your miracle-working power to begin flowing into his life. Revive his soul and bring him out of all hi troubles and forgive him for all his past mistakes. Deliver Cirrus from all this emotional distress and out of all the circumstances that trouble him (Ps. 143:4,7,11). For it is You alone, Amighty God, who doeth great wonders, who abundantly blesses beyond what we can ask or think and who can satisfy every need with Your Mighty Hand of provision (Ps 132:15; 136:4,25; Eph. 3:20). You promise Lord, to keep the feet of Your saints and to lift them up out of the dust when they fall. (I Sam. 2:7,9). Gracious Lord, You promise to provide for Your servants and satisfy their needs and desires because they belong to You and are God-fearing people who call upon you in truth and who love and obey you (Ps. 145:15-20). Look upon his situation now, Lord, and let Your merciful kindness rest upon him (Ps. 117:2). Magnificent Heavenly Father, help him to have a closer walk with You. A walk that will bring Your divine favor and success into his life to turn all of his hardships into blessings (Gen. 50:20,21; Pr. 3:3,4; Ps. 129:8). Blessed are all they who practice righteousness at all times (Ps. 106:3). Open up Your gates of righteousness that they may enter in (Ps. 118:19). Lord Jesus, help Cirrus to be righteous and God-fearing man who flourish like the palm tree (Ps. 92:12,13). Restore his marriage and his life. May their obedience and faithfulness to Your Holy Word bring goodness and success into their lives (Josh. 1:8). Sustain them and strengthen him, O Lord, and let them not be moved (Ps. 52:22). Deliver him and his family from all their distresses and burdens and satisfy their soul with goodness (Ps. 107:5-9). We give You all the praise and all the glory for your miracle-working power. Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for all the blessings that You brought to us this year. We look forward to growing in righteousness this coming New Year (Rom. 5:21; 2 Cor. 9:10; Phil. 1:9-11). Continue to transform us as we walk on the path of purity (1 Jn. 3:3). Purify, cleanse, refine, and sanctify our lives until there are no more stains, spots, wrinkles or blemishes so we can be holy and blameless, as Christ desires for us to be (Eph. 5:27). We thank You, Lord God, for all this transforming power that You will allow to flow into our lives (2 Cor. 11:14). Break up all of our fallow ground and rain righteousness down upon us from heaven to fill our souls (Hos. 10:12; Matt. 5:6; Phil. 1:11), that we may bear much fruit unto holiness (Rom. 6:22).
