The dripping began yesterday, and the water appears bluish-green. There seems to be electrical current in the water. The landlord has not yet permitted calling a technician.

First and foremost, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or neglect in this matter. The landlord’s hesitation to allow a technician to address this issue is unacceptable and must be confronted with urgency. Scripture tells us in **Proverbs 24:11-12 (WEB)**, *"Rescue those who are being taken away to death! Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter! If you say, 'Behold, we didn’t know this;' doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not render to every man according to his work?"* This is not a matter to be taken lightly—lives could be at risk.

We also lift up the individuals in this home, praying for protection over them. **Psalm 91:9-11 (WEB)** declares, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Lord, we ask that You send Your angels to watch over this household and shield them from harm until this danger is resolved.

We pray for wisdom and boldness for those living in this home to advocate for their safety. **James 1:5 (WEB)** assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Father, grant them the words to speak and the courage to act, even if it means escalating this matter beyond the landlord’s authority. The bluish-green color in the water and the electrical current suggest a serious malfunction that requires immediate attention from a licensed professional.

We also rebuke any spirit of fear that may be attempting to paralyze action. **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Lord, replace any fear with Your peace and clarity, so that those affected may take the necessary steps to ensure their safety.

If the landlord continues to refuse permission for a technician, we encourage those in this home to seek legal or local housing authority assistance. Many jurisdictions have laws that require landlords to maintain safe living conditions, and this situation likely violates those standards. **Romans 13:4 (WEB)** tells us that governing authorities are *"God’s servants, for your good."* It may be necessary to involve them to compel the landlord to act responsibly.

Finally, we pray for the landlord, that their heart would be softened to recognize the gravity of this situation. **Ezekiel 33:6 (WEB)** warns, *"But if the watchman sees the sword come, and doesn’t blow the trumpet, and the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand."* Lord, open the landlord’s eyes to their responsibility and move them to act swiftly.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this home to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Protect those living there from harm, grant them wisdom and courage, and compel the landlord to do what is right. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1 WEB**). May Your will be done, and may this danger be resolved without delay. Amen.
