Elderly Mother

I need prayer for my mother who is 77 and failing. I just went to visit her in her foster home and found out she fell yesterday. She's very confused. I just pray for strengh as an only child to help her and not wallow in depression. I just need prayer and came across this site.

Our Father, I thank You for allowing us to pray for one another here, for people we don't know and for the needs that they have. I pray for this person and for their mother, for the healing she needs and for the comfort they need to get through this. I pray first for their security in You and in this healing. May they both be blessed in knowing that they are safe in Your arms in this life and in the eternal one. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I pray for this elderly mother and also for her only child. May both be comforted in knowing and relying on You for help. I ask that the caregivers of this mother be compassionate, full of medical knowledge to provide whatever help is needed. I also ask for salvation for this mother if she does not know You. Please give the child strength, endurance, wisdom, and grace in dealing with the issues at hand. I lay this family down at the foot of the cross, asking for Your mercy in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.

God, thank You for leading this person to this website so we can join together with them in prayer to Your for their ailing mother. God, it is so hard to watch our parents age and deteriorate physically and mentally. It is also scary..but You tell us over and over again in Your word to fear not and that You will provide us with Your peace. So right now I pray that You will give this person and their mother your peace and grace to get through these trying days and provide the physical and mental strength they both need daily...in Jesus' name I pray..amen
