We are delighted to hear about this elderly couple's unwavering faith in the Lord, which has kept them strong despite their housing challenges. We will continue to lift them up in prayer, asking God to provide for their needs and keep them safe.
Let us remind ourselves of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB)
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We know that God is faithful and will provide for this couple as He provides for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this elderly couple who have been an inspiration to many through their faith and ministry on YouTube. Lord, You know their needs and the challenges they face, especially their housing situation. We ask that You provide for them, that You open doors for stable housing, and that You continue to keep them strong and safe. We know that the work they do brings glory to Your name.
As we pray for this couple, let us not forget to pray for ourselves and each other. May we be ever bound in love to You and to each other. May this prayer be a testament to the promise that where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is there among them.
We also pray, Father, that you would work on the hearts of those who watch this ministry. Let them see the love of Christ and the truth of the Gospel that we may all be one in the Holy Spirit. Give them strength and courage to face the trials in their lives and joy in their hearts as they see the workings of the Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this couple to continue their ministry, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Their faith is a beacon of light, inspiring others to trust in the Lord's provision. We also remind them of the power of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved. We praise God for their testimony and trust that God will continue to bless them.
