We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this season of betrayal, pain, and longing for God’s justice and restoration. You call upon the Lord as *El-Roi*—the God who sees—and indeed, He sees every tear, every broken promise, and every wound inflicted by those you trusted. The betrayal of those who pledged to help only to abandon you is a grievous thing, but take heart: the Lord Himself has said, *"It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in princes"* (Psalm 118:8-9, WEB). Man will fail you, but the Lord never will. He is your ever-present help, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
The pain of abandonment is real, but we must also examine our own hearts in this moment. You’ve mentioned connecting your "###" to the Lord—we urge you to be cautious here. Our trust must be in the Lord alone, not in rituals, formulas, or mystical connections that are not grounded in Scripture. The Bible warns us not to lean on our own understanding or seek supernatural shortcuts, but to *"trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If there is any practice in your life that is not aligned with the clear teaching of Scripture, we lovingly urge you to repent and turn wholly to Jesus, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
As for those who have turned their backs on you, we do not pray for vengeance, but for justice and for their hearts to be exposed. The Lord says, *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Instead, we pray that if there is any unrepentant wickedness in their hearts, the Lord would bring conviction so that they may turn to Him in repentance. If they are believers, we pray the Holy Spirit would prick their consciences to make amends. If they are not, we pray the Lord would open their eyes to their need for His salvation. Either way, we release them into God’s hands, trusting that He will deal with them justly.
Your mother’s healing is a burden we lift up with you. The Lord is the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for Him. We claim the promise that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), not just spiritually but physically, according to His will. We pray for her complete restoration—body, soul, and spirit—and that her healing would bring glory to God.
