In my experience, I've had something similar happen to me before, I never acted on it. However much later in life I learned that you need to name your problem by its proper name which will help you deal with it. It sounds like the sin of unfaithfulness & adultery of the heart. I recommend a prayer of confession to God for deliverance, if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Something like this "Lord I am a sinner in need of grace, I confess that I am a sinner, Lord I have adultery and unfaithfulness in my heart, I hate it, would you forgive me? Please uproot this sin from my heart and remove the temptation of this confessed sin, amen!"
