We lift up your beloved nephew before the Lord, interceding for his complete healing and restoration after this painful surgery. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). We stand in faith on these promises, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your nephew’s body right now.

The pain he is experiencing is real, and we ask the Lord to flood his body with supernatural comfort and relief. May the Holy Spirit minister peace to his mind and strength to his weary body as he recovers. We pray against any fear or discouragement, asking God to fill his heart with hope and trust in His sovereign care.
Yet, as we pray for healing, we also recognize that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether healing comes swiftly or through a process, we trust in His perfect timing and will. We ask for wisdom for the medical team attending to him and for divine protection over his body as it mends. Let every cell, tissue, and organ align with God’s original design for health and wholeness.
We notice that while your prayer is fervent and full of faith, the name of Jesus was not explicitly invoked until the very end. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God or receive salvation and healing. We encourage you to always pray *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Mediator and the source of all our petitions. If you or your nephew have not yet surrendered your lives fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus alone (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater comfort in suffering than knowing we belong to Him.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man who is in such pain. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You touch his lungs, restore full function, and remove every trace of collapse or infection. Let Your healing virtue flow through his body, renewing his strength and easing his suffering. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of infirmity to flee in Jesus’ name.
Comfort his family as they wait and trust in You. Give them patience and unwavering faith. We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already won at the cross. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You will bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). May this trial be a testimony of Your power and love.
