I lost my husband over 3 years ago. I would like very much for God to send a Christian man into my life. I also want to sell the mobile home where I live due to the memories. It seems I can't sell it. Pray for me to find peace here.
May I ask you a question? Have you got the Holy Spirit? The reason sometimes people have sentimental feelings to things is because we sometimes lack Spiritual guidance, and we seem to either throw things out or hold on to old and unkind people because of our sentiments. Child of the most high God, don't sell your home, it's where the Lord has put you for now, don't be impulsive because of the satanic's occult, making you feel this way. If you can't sell it, it may be because that's what the Lord Almighty still wants for you. You might still be going through healing, and being in that very same home might actually be helping, and not rushing your healing.
Peace to you as it is given, don't hold on too much to sentiments; a dish is exactly that, a jacket, a door, a bed, a couch, whatever is in there, those are exactly what they are—just objects, not where your husband shared those very same places with your new found husband, Jehovah. He is the husband to the husbandless, father to the fatherless, and God above all.
God is jealous; He is a jealous lover. He wants moments with you in that very same place you spent moments with your last husband. He wants to go shopping for groceries with you, clean, watch you clean the house, help you choose your outfits, watch you do your hair, remind you of your soapie. He's your husband now, give the guy a break; He wants you.
Jehovah wants to share your space with you, woman, come on, give the guy a break.
