We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up your loved ones and your own heart to the Lord. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—salvation through Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by believing in Him that we are saved. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household"* (Acts 16:31). If any of those you are praying for have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we join you in praying for their salvation, that they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior.
Father God, we lift up this brother or sister’s family to You, asking that You would be with their spouse and children. Bless their workplaces, Lord, and grant them favor, wisdom, and integrity in all they do. May their colleagues see Your light shining through them, and may their jobs be a testimony of Your provision and grace. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for protection over their minds and hearts, that they would be shielded from the enemy’s schemes and that their work would glorify You.
We also stand with you in spiritual warfare, for the Bible warns us that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over every demonic influence, every tormenting memory, and every unclean spirit that seeks to harass you. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee and be destroyed. *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God, that every demonic image and sound is erased by the blood of Jesus, and that your home is sanctified by His presence.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Deliver them from every evil influence, and let Your healing power flow through their thoughts, emotions, and memories. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for those in their lives who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. May Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may they turn to Jesus for salvation. We trust in Your promise that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this brother or sister is set free, that their home is a place of peace, and that their family is covered by Your protection. Strengthen them in their walk with You, and let them experience the fullness of life that comes from abiding in Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
