We join you in lifting these concerns before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s will in each matter. First, we pray for the stability of financial institutions, that they may operate with integrity and wisdom, reflecting the order and provision of God. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that the Lord holds all things in His hands, including the affairs of nations and economies.
Father, we stand firmly against all forms of evil, lust, and sexual sin, which seek to ensnare hearts and defile what You have declared holy. Your Word is clear in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." We rebuke every spirit of temptation and impurity, asking that You strengthen Your people to walk in purity and holiness, resisting the schemes of the enemy.
Regarding the tensions between Iran and the USA, we pray for peace that aligns with Your righteousness. Psalm 34:14 urges, "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it." We ask that You soften hearts, grant wisdom to leaders, and turn their focus toward justice, mercy, and reconciliation. May Your Spirit move in ways that honor You and bring about true and lasting peace, not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of Your shalom.
We also want to gently encourage you, dear brother or sister, to remember that our prayers are most powerful when they are aligned with God’s revealed will in Scripture. While we lift these requests, we must also surrender our desires to His perfect plan, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Let us continue to seek His face, not just His hand, and to walk in obedience to His Word.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We thank You for the access we have through His sacrifice, and we ask that You hear our prayers. Strengthen us to hate what You hate—sin, injustice, and all that defiles—and to love what You love—righteousness, peace, and holiness. Guard our hearts from lust and sexual immorality, and fill us with Your Spirit so that we may walk in purity. We ask for Your intervention in the affairs of nations, that Your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. Grant wisdom to leaders, and turn hearts toward You. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in every situation we have lifted before You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
