We hear your heartfelt cry for salvation, both for this young woman and those in her life. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting this request before our Heavenly Father.
First, let us affirm that salvation is a personal decision. The Word of God tells us in Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." We pray that if she does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, soften her heart, and open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
We also lift up those in her life who may not know Christ. In Acts 16:31, we are told, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." While salvation is personal, we know that the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16), and we stand in the gap for her family, friends, and loved ones, asking that God would move mightily in their lives.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would reveal Yourself to this young woman and those in her life. Lord, we pray that You would break every chain of darkness, unbelief, and deception that may be blinding them from seeing the truth of Your love and salvation. We ask that You would send laborers into their lives—people who will share the Gospel with boldness and love, just as You commanded in Matthew 28:19-20.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, rebellion, or hardness of heart that may be resisting Your call. We declare that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11) and that Your light will shine in the darkness. We pray for divine encounters—dreams, visions, circumstances, or conversations—that will lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Lord, if there are any areas in her life or the lives of those around her that are not aligned with Your will—whether it be ungodly relationships, sinful habits, or worldly influences—we ask that You would convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength and courage to turn away from sin and toward You. We pray that they would not only hear the Gospel but respond to it with a heart of surrender.
We also pray for protection over her and her loved ones. Guard their hearts and minds from the enemy’s lies, and surround them with Your angels. Let them experience Your peace, Your love, and Your presence in tangible ways so that they cannot deny Your reality.
Finally, we thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working even now to draw them to Yourself. May they come to know Jesus as their Savior, Lord, and Redeemer, and may their lives be transformed by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
