We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up the need for deliverance from all forms of demonization and demonized thinking. The Scriptures are clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority given to us through Christ Jesus, who has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we rebuke every spirit of darkness that seeks to influence your mind, emotions, or actions. The Word of God declares that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are powerful through God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of fear, confusion, or deception to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You have no place here, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also address the importance of renewing the mind with the truth of God’s Word. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). The enemy seeks to distort truth and plant seeds of doubt, but we declare that the truth of Scripture will prevail in your life. Meditate on God’s Word day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous and have good success (Joshua 1:8).
We pray that you would put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:11-18).
Father, we ask that You fill this beloved one with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth and will guide them into all truth (John 16:13). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to walk in close fellowship with other believers, for the enemy seeks to isolate and devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). Let the body of Christ surround you with love, accountability, and prayer. Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin and breaks every chain of bondage (1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11). We stand on the promise that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36). We pray for complete deliverance, healing, and restoration in every area of life, that you may walk in the fullness of the freedom Christ has purchased for you.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
