We come before the Lord with this request, lifting it up in prayer with hearts that seek His will. First, we acknowledge that all things are under God’s sovereign control, and He cares for even the smallest creatures, as Jesus reminds us in Matthew 10:29, "Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will." While we understand the frustration that pests like mice can bring, we ask for wisdom and godly solutions rather than destruction. The Lord may provide ways to humanely address this issue, whether through prevention, protection of property, or seeking help from others who can assist in a manner that honors Him.
We also lift up the individual mentioned in this prayer, asking that if he does not yet know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit would draw him near. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that this man would come to recognize his need for a Savior, repent of his sins, and place his faith in Jesus Christ. May the Lord open his heart to the truth of the Gospel and bring believers into his life to share the hope of eternal life.
For the locations mentioned, we pray for God’s provision and protection. In these uncertain times, many businesses and employees face challenges, and we ask the Lord to sustain them according to His promises. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1). We pray that these businesses would remain open, not by mere chance or human effort alone, but by the hand of God, who provides for His children. May the employees find security in their work, knowing that their ultimate Provider is the Lord Himself. We ask that these workplaces would also be environments where the light of Christ shines, drawing others to Him through the testimony of believers who work there.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or desperation that may be driving this request. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead of asking for destruction, we encourage seeking God’s wisdom and peace in every situation. Let us trust in His provision and timing, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in all things. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on this situation. Lord, we pray for the mice that they would not cause harm or destruction, and we ask for wisdom in how to address this issue in a way that honors You. Father, we lift up the individual mentioned in this prayer, asking that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, soften his heart to receive Your truth, and surround him with believers who can share the Gospel with him. Lord, we also pray for the businesses and employees referenced here. Provide for their needs, sustain their work, and let Your name be glorified in their midst. May they see Your hand at work in their lives and give You praise.
Father, we ask that You would replace any fear or frustration with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help us to trust in You, knowing that You are in control of all things. May we seek Your will above our own desires, and may Your name be exalted in every situation. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
