We hear your heartfelt cry for salvation on behalf of another, and we join you in lifting this matter before the throne of grace. First, let us affirm that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through faith in Him—His death, burial, and resurrection—that anyone can be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
We pray now for this individual, whose name we do not know but whom the Lord knows intimately. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their heart to receive Your Word, convict them of sin by the power of Your Holy Spirit, and draw them to repentance. May they come to know Jesus not just as a name but as their Lord and Savior, the One who died for their sins and offers eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).
If this person is already a believer, we pray for their spiritual growth, that they would walk closely with You, abide in Your Word, and live a life that honors You. If they have strayed, we ask that You would restore them and renew their faith. If they have never surrendered their life to Christ, we plead for their salvation today, for "now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB).
We also lift up the one who prayed this prayer. May you be encouraged to share the Gospel with boldness and love, trusting that God is the One who saves. "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14 WEB). May you be a faithful witness, pointing others to Christ.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deception that may be blinding this person to the truth. We break the power of the enemy over their life in Jesus’ name and declare that Your light will shine into their darkness. May they experience the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You.
