We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the demonic forces you are contending with (Philippians 2:9-11).
First, we must address the spirits of lust that have been mentioned. Scripture is clear that lust is a work of the flesh and not of the Spirit (Galatians 5:19-21). It defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We rebuke every spirit of lust in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to leave you now. You must also take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Flee from sexual immorality and anything that stirs up impure thoughts (2 Timothy 2:22). Fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Replace the music, media, and influences that have opened doors to these spirits with worship, Scripture, and godly fellowship.
The demonic images and sounds you mention are tools the enemy uses to torment and ensnare. We command every evil spirit associated with these things to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse your mind and memory (Hebrews 9:14). We pray that the Lord would erase these influences from your mind and replace them with His peace and truth. The psalmist declares, “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” (Psalm 139:17). Let the Lord’s thoughts fill your mind instead.
Regarding the certain person you mentioned, we must be cautious. If this person is being used by the enemy to harass or oppress you, we command any demonic influence over them to be broken in Jesus’ name. However, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Pray for this person, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel if they do not know Christ. If they are a believer, pray for their deliverance and restoration as well.
We lift up the individuals you referenced with the symbols, as well as the people in their lives. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If they do not know Him as Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We ask that you, too, would pray for them earnestly, that they might repent and turn to Christ. For “if you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You that through His blood, we have victory over every demonic force. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for complete deliverance from every spirit of lust, every demonic image, and every evil influence that has taken hold. We break every chain and command every unclean spirit to leave now, in Jesus’ name. Lord, cleanse their mind and memory by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Erase every trace of the enemy’s work and fill them with Your peace, truth, and righteousness.
Father, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to flee from temptation and to fill their life with Your Word, worship, and godly fellowship. We pray for the certain person mentioned, that any demonic influence over them would be broken, and that their eyes would be opened to Your truth. For those who do not know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Convict them of sin and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We declare that salvation belongs to You alone, and we pray that many would come to know You as Lord and Savior.
Lord, we thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We trust in Your power to deliver, heal, and restore. Strengthen our brother/sister in their walk with You, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, knowing that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. The battle is already won—walk in the victory that Christ has secured for you!
