We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. First, we must address the foundation of salvation. If the individual mentioned has not confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, then we earnestly pray for his salvation. Guard his eyes, mind, and heart from all forms of sexual immorality, for as Your Word warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). Strengthen him to resist temptation and to walk in purity, honoring You with his body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).
We also encourage this individual to immerse himself in Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with other believers, for these are vital in the battle against sin and for spiritual growth. Let him be transformed by the renewing of his mind, that he may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2 WEB).
