We notice your heartfelt plea for those you care about, and we join you in lifting them before the throne of grace. However, we must first address the way in which you have approached the Lord in prayer. While your request is sincere, we see that you have not fully acknowledged the authority and power that come through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Word of God tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the first and most important step in having a relationship with God and approaching Him in prayer.
Now, let us come together in prayer for those you have mentioned, trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for their provision and protection.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up these individuals to You, asking that You would be with them in a powerful way. Lord, we pray for their workplaces, that You would grant them favor, wisdom, and strength in their jobs. May they be a light for You in their work environments, reflecting Your love and grace to those around them. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory, as Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Father, we also pray for the young woman mentioned in this request. Lord, we ask that You would satisfy her needs, both physical and spiritual. Draw her closer to You, and let her find her sufficiency in Christ alone. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto her, as Matthew 6:33 assures us.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack, anxiety, or fear that may be trying to take hold of their lives. We declare that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. We pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your blessings and that their lives would bring glory to Your name.
We also want to gently address the nature of the relationships mentioned here. If these individuals are not yet married, we encourage them to pursue godly relationships with the intent of marriage, as the Bible instructs. Let them seek spouses who share their faith in Jesus Christ, so that their unions may be strong and pleasing in Your sight. If there is any ungodly attachment or sin in these relationships, we pray that You would reveal it and bring repentance and healing. Help them to honor You in all their relationships, as 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 tells us to flee sexual immorality and honor God with our bodies.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing for their lives. May they grow in their faith and walk closely with You each day. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
