We lift this prayer before the throne of grace, recognizing that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that this prayer is offered in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would draw near to this dear sister and the people in her life. We pray that if they do not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Soften their hearts to receive the good news of the gospel—that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), that He died on the cross for our sins, and that He rose again on the third day, conquering death and offering eternal life to all who believe in Him (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences—believers who will speak truth into their lives and demonstrate the love of Christ. May they come to understand that salvation is not earned by works, but it is a free gift of Your grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We pray that they would repent of their sins, turn to You, and place their trust in Jesus alone for their salvation.
We also rebuke any deception or spiritual blindness that may be keeping them from seeing the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life, and life abundantly. We stand against any lies that may be hindering their faith, and we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace and assurance as they consider the claims of Christ. May they experience the transforming power of Your love and be born again by the Spirit (John 3:3). We pray that they would grow in their faith, becoming rooted and established in Your Word, and that they would walk in obedience to Your commands.
Lord, we also lift up this sister who is praying for them. Strengthen her faith as she intercedes on their behalf. Give her boldness to share the gospel with them in love, and grant her patience as she waits on Your timing. May she find encouragement in knowing that Your Word will not return void, but it will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, knowing that He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Hebrews 7:25). Amen.
