We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your heart to the Lord who hears and answers prayer. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed, delivered, and set free. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we stand in agreement with this dear one, asking You to deliver them from all anger that does not align with Your righteousness. Your Word tells us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). Lord, we ask that You uproot any bitterness, resentment, or ungodly anger from their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and teach them to respond to situations with grace, patience, and self-control, which is a fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
We boldly come against every demonic spirit, possession, attack, and influence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your Word declares, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every demonic spirit of anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, and torment. We command them to flee in Jesus' name, for "the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). We also renounce any ungodly ties to demonic music, sounds, or influences that do not glorify You, Lord. Help this one to fill their mind and heart with that which is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). We ask that You break every chain and set them free from anything that does not align with Your will.
Father, we lift up the request to move on from the past, specifically from anything before or after August 2011. We know that You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Your Word tells us, "Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13-14). Lord, we ask that You heal every wound, restore every loss, and redeem every painful memory. Help them to release the past into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Fill their mind with Your truth and their heart with Your hope, so they may walk in the freedom You have purchased for them.
We also join in prayer for all those who are lost and in need of salvation. Lord, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, soften their hearts to receive Your love, and grant them the gift of repentance and faith. We pray for laborers to be sent into the harvest field (Matthew 9:38), that Your gospel may be proclaimed with boldness and clarity. May many come to know You as Lord and experience the transforming power of Your grace.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You strengthen this one in their walk with You. Surround them with godly community, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and help them to grow in the knowledge and love of Your Word. May they find their identity, purpose, and hope in You alone. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name.
