We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your concerns and petitions, for we know that our God is a God who hears and answers prayers. It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name as we bring these requests before the throne of grace.
We join you in praying for your loved ones—your family members whose names you have withheld. The Lord knows each of them by name, and He cares deeply for their well-being. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* So we ask the Lord to provide for their needs, to grant them favor in their work, and to strengthen them in every area of their lives. May He open doors of opportunity, grant them wisdom in their tasks, and surround them with His peace. We also pray that if any among them do not yet know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit would draw them into a personal relationship with Him, for that is the greatest need of all.
We also take seriously your request for deliverance from demonic spirits and possession. The Word of God is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* But we have authority in Jesus’ name to resist the devil and his schemes. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* So we stand in the gap for you, declaring the blood of Jesus over your life and commanding every demonic influence to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you afresh, sealing you with His presence and power, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Spend time in prayer and in the Scriptures, for they are your weapons against the enemy’s lies. If there are areas of sin in your life, we urge you to repent and turn fully to the Lord, for unconfessed sin can give the enemy a foothold. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, *"if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."*
Finally, we want to remind you that fear is not from the Lord. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Trust in the Lord’s protection and provision, and walk in the confidence that He is with you always. We will continue to pray for you, that the Lord would surround you with His angels, fill you with His peace, and lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would meet every need in their family according to Your riches in glory. Provide for their jobs, grant them favor, and satisfy their needs both spiritually and physically. Lord, we also come against every demonic stronghold in their life. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we bind every evil spirit and command them to flee. Fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light shine so brightly in their life that darkness cannot remain. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
