It is clear you are seeking freedom from spiritual influences that do not honor Him, and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20, WEB).
The power of music and imagery cannot be underestimated, as they shape our thoughts, emotions, and even our spiritual well-being. The Bible warns us in **Colossians 3:2** (WEB), *"Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."* If the music you’ve been exposed to glorifies darkness, sensuality, violence, or rebellion against God, it is time to cast it aside and fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). We encourage you to replace ungodly music with worship that exalts Jesus Christ, hymns, and psalms that build up your spirit. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you sing with thankfulness in your hearts to God (Colossians 3:16).
You have also asked for the breaking of ungodly soul ties, and we affirm that this is a critical step in walking in freedom. Soul ties are deep emotional or spiritual connections that can form through relationships, experiences, or even repeated exposure to certain influences—such as music or media—that are not of God. **2 Corinthians 6:14-17** (WEB) commands us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? ... Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord. Don’t touch the unclean thing. I will receive you."* We pray that every ungodly tie—whether through past relationships, media, or habits—is severed by the blood of Jesus, and that you are released into the freedom Christ purchased for you.
The request for deliverance from demonic images and pictures is one we take seriously, for the enemy often uses visual stimuli to plant seeds of fear, lust, idolatry, or confusion. **1 John 5:21** (WEB) tells us, *"Little children, keep yourselves from idols."* This includes not only physical idols but anything that captures our attention and affection more than God. We pray that every image or visual influence that does not align with the holiness of God is removed from your life. May the Lord cleanse your mind and heart, renewing them by His Spirit (Titus 3:5). As it is written in **Psalm 101:3** (WEB), *"I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me."*
Forgiveness is at the heart of your prayer, and we rejoice that you have sought it in the name of Jesus. **1 John 1:9** (WEB) assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus to cover, and we thank God that you have turned to Him in repentance. Walk now in the confidence of His forgiveness, knowing that He has cast your sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
