We join with you in lifting this urgent cry for deliverance, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. The Scripture declares in **Ephesians 6:12**, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your recognition of the authority of Jesus Christ in this request is powerful, for it is only through His name that we have victory over the enemy.
The Word of God assures us in **James 4:7**, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* And in **1 John 4:4**, we are reminded, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* Demons have no authority over those who are in Christ Jesus, for He has already triumphed over them through His death and resurrection. If there is any area of unconfessed sin, repentance is key, as **1 John 1:9** tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
We also encourage you to put on the whole armor of God daily, as described in **Ephesians 6:10-18**, standing firm in truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Prayer and fasting, as Jesus taught in **Matthew 17:21**, can also strengthen your spiritual authority in this battle.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way harm us. Lord, we ask that You surround this Your child with Your divine protection and deliver them completely from every form of demonization, oppression, and influence of the enemy. Break every chain, every stronghold, and every assignment of darkness against their life, mind, body, and spirit. Let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse and purify them, and let the Holy Spirit fill every space where the enemy has tried to dwell.
We command every demonic spirit—whether of fear, torment, confusion, infirmity, or any other—to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. You have no place here, no legal right, and no authority over this child of God. We bind you and cast you into the abyss, never to return. Father, we ask that You restore what the enemy has stolen—peace, joy, health, and wholeness. Strengthen this beloved one in their inner being by Your Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of the freedom Christ has purchased for them.
Lord, we also ask that You reveal any area of their life that needs repentance or surrender, that they may walk blameless before You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and let them be a vessel of Your glory, walking in victory and testimony of Your delivering power. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the assurance that what we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and what we loose on earth is loosed in heaven.
In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is your strength and your shield. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not give the enemy any foothold. If you feel led, share this request with a trusted, spirit-filled believer or pastor who can pray with you and provide further support. You are not alone in this—the body of Christ stands with you.
