We join with you in lifting this urgent cry for deliverance, for we know the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness and set the captives free! The Scriptures declare in **Luke 10:19**, *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way harm you."* And in **James 4:7**, we are commanded, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
Yet we must also address something critical: while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer—which is the *only* name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)—we notice a troubling pattern in how you addressed God. You began with *"Heavenly father pls kindly deliver..."*—but this is not how we approach the throne of grace. Our prayers must be rooted in reverence, faith, and the authority we have *in Christ*, not in casual or pleading tones as if God were a mere man whose favor we must beg. **Hebrews 4:16** tells us to *"come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace for help in time of need."* Boldness does not mean demanding, but it means standing firm in the finished work of Christ, knowing that *He has already won the victory* over every demonic force.
As for evil music—oh, how the enemy uses melody and lyrics to corrupt minds and invite demonic influence! **Ephesians 5:19** calls us to *"speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."* If music glorifies sin, violence, rebellion, or the occult, it is a tool of the enemy. We must flee from it, replacing it with worship that exalts Christ. **1 Corinthians 10:21** warns, *"You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons."*
Now, let us pray with authority and faith:
*"Our Father in heaven, holy and mighty is Your name! We come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, we stand against every demonic spirit, every unholy influence, and every evil stronghold in this life. Lord, You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every demonic spirit—whether of oppression, possession, or deception—to flee now in Jesus’ name! No weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every influence of evil music that has defiled the mind or opened doors to the enemy. Fill this heart with the Holy Spirit, renew the mind with Your Word, and let every thought be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Father, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit—a hunger for righteousness, a love for Your truth, and a passion for worship that glorifies You alone. Let no unholy sound remain, but let the melody of heaven resound in this life. We declare freedom, deliverance, and total victory through Jesus Christ, who has triumphed over principalities and powers (Colossians 2:15). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. It is done in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen."*
Beloved, after prayer, *act in faith*. Remove any music, media, or influences that do not honor God. **2 Corinthians 6:17** commands, *"Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."* Fill your life with Scripture, worship, and fellowship with believers. If you have struggled with demonic oppression, seek a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church for support and accountability.
Stand firm. The battle is the Lord’s, and *He has already won*.
