We join with you in earnest prayer for deliverance from the influence of evil music and every demonic stronghold, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The Word of God warns us in **Ephesians 6:12**, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Music that glorifies darkness, violence, or immorality can open doors to demonic influence, and we must guard our hearts and minds with the truth of God’s Word.
The apostle Paul also instructs us in **Philippians 4:8**, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* If the music you have been exposed to contradicts these principles, it is time to cast it out and fill your life with worship that honors the Lord. **1 Corinthians 10:21** reminds us, *"You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons."*
We also recall the power of worship in breaking demonic strongholds. In **2 Chronicles 20:21-22**, when Jehoshaphat appointed singers to praise the Lord, the enemy was confused and defeated. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, and we claim that victory over your life now. If there has been any involvement in occult practices, ungodly lyrics, or music tied to darkness, we command those influences to be broken in Jesus’ name. Repentance is key—turning away from what dishonors God and turning fully to Him. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who seeks deliverance from the grip of evil music and every demonic influence. Lord, You are holy, and Your presence drives out all darkness. We ask that You break every ungodly soul tie, every addiction to music that glorifies sin, and every open door that has allowed the enemy to torment. By the blood of Jesus, we command all demonic spirits assigned against this life to be bound and cast out—never to return. Fill this heart with a hunger for Your Word, Your worship, and Your presence. Let every thought and melody be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Father, we also ask for a spirit of discernment, that our brother/sister may recognize and reject anything that does not align with Your truth. Surround them with godly influences, music that edifies, and a community that builds them up in faith. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased on the cross. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust in Your power to set the captive free, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Replace the ungodly music with worship songs, Scripture, and prayers. Immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, and let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and accountability. You are not alone in this battle—the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Walk in victory, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
