We understand that you are seeking deliverance from a particular music that may be troubling your spirit, and we join you in lifting this concern before the Lord. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through His mighty name that we have authority and access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are grateful you recognize the power in the name of Jesus, for He alone is our Deliverer and Strong Tower.
Music has a profound influence on our minds, emotions, and even our spiritual well-being. The Bible encourages us to fill our hearts and minds with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). If this music is leading you into temptation, stirring ungodly emotions, or drawing your heart away from Christ, it is wise to seek the Lord’s deliverance from its grip.
We also recall the words of the apostle Paul, who reminds us, *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). If this music is defiling the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, it is right to ask the Lord to cleanse you and set you free from its influence. Lord, our brother/sister has humbly asked for deliverance from this music that has taken hold in their life. We ask that You break its power and influence over them right now. Uproot any ungodly attachments it has formed in their mind, heart, or spirit. Fill them instead with a hunger for Your presence, Your Word, and Your truth.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual forces that may be using this music as a tool to distract, tempt, or oppress Your child. By the blood of Jesus, we command every unholy tie to be severed, and we declare that their mind is renewed by the washing of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26). Replace every ungodly melody with the songs of Zion, and let the praises of Your name be ever on their lips. *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord"* (Colossians 3:16, WEB).
Father, we ask that You would give them discernment to recognize music that glorifies You and edifies their spirit. Lead them to fill their ears and heart with worship that exalts Your name and draws them closer to You. Let them experience the joy of Your presence as they meditate on Your goodness and sing songs of praise to You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You have promised that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). We claim this promise now and trust that You are making a way of escape for them.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
