We join with you in lifting up this urgent and powerful prayer, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Your cry for deliverance resonates with the heart of God, who desires to set His children free from every yoke of bondage and darkness. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father’s throne of grace.
The scriptures remind us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This is not a passive resistance but an active, faith-filled stand against the forces of evil. You have taken that stand, and we stand with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The evil spirits you have named—demonic spirits, satanic influences, evil music that corrupts the soul, and the spirit of lust—have no place in the life of a believer who is washed by the blood of the Lamb. As it is written in 1 John 4:4, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."*
Yet we must also address the heart behind the request to "send these to death." While we understand the desperation to be free from these torments, we must remember that our battle is not one of vengeance but of victory through Christ. The enemy is already defeated at the cross, and our role is to enforce that victory through prayer, repentance, and the renewing of our minds. Romans 12:21 tells us, *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* Our focus must remain on the power of Christ to redeem, deliver, and transform, rather than on the destruction of the enemy. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* This authority is not for destruction but for deliverance and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
The spirit of lust is a particularly insidious stronghold, one that the enemy uses to distort God’s beautiful design for intimacy and purity. We must flee from it, as Joseph did in Genesis 39:12, and instead pursue holiness. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 declares, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* If there are areas of your life where lust has taken root—whether through relationships, entertainment, or habits—we urge you to surrender them to Christ now. Confess them, turn away from them, and fill your mind and heart with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
Let us also consider the influence of music in our lives. Music has a profound impact on our spirits, and the enemy often uses it to plant seeds of rebellion, despair, or impurity. Ephesians 5:19 instructs us to speak *"to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."* If there is music in your life that glorifies violence, sensuality, or darkness, we encourage you to remove it and replace it with worship that exalts Christ. Colossians 3:16 says, *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."*
Now, let us pray together with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who breaks every chain, and who sets the captives free. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is crying out for deliverance from every demonic spirit, every satanic influence, and every evil stronghold. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Father, we ask that You would expose every hidden darkness in their life and bring it into the light of Your truth. Break the power of evil music, ungodly influences, and every spirit of lust that has sought to ensnare them. Uproot these things completely, Lord, and replace them with a hunger for Your Word, a love for Your presence, and a passion for holiness.
We do not pray for the death of the enemy, but we pray for the enforcement of Christ’s victory over him. We bind every demonic assignment against this precious child of Yours and command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, fill every empty place in their heart with Your presence. Renew their mind, guard their eyes and ears, and lead them into paths of righteousness. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, no longer bound by the desires of the flesh but empowered by Your Spirit to live in victory.
Father, we also pray that You would surround them with godly influences—people who will encourage them, pray with them, and hold them accountable. If there are relationships, habits, or entertainments that are feeding these strongholds, give them the courage to cut them off completely. Help them to flee from temptation and to pursue You with all their heart.
We thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. We thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins to You (1 John 1:9). Strengthen our brother/sister in their inner being, that they may stand firm in this battle and emerge victorious, clothed in Your armor and walking in Your light.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. Amen.

The enemy may try to retaliate, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Stay vigilant, guard your heart, and continue to seek the Lord with all your strength. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If there are specific areas of struggle, we urge you to share them with a trusted believer or pastor who can pray with you and walk alongside you in this journey. You are not alone—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always.
