We join you in your request and agree in Jesus' name for your deliverance and cleansing. It's crucial to understand that evil spirits and influences can indeed gain access to our lives through various means, including music that does not glorify God. Scripture tells us to be careful about what we listen to and fill our minds with. Philippians 4:8 WEB states, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
First, let's address the issue of evil influences. Ephesians 6:12 WEB reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." To overcome these influences, it's important to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18.
We pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and cleansing for our fellow believer. We ask that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness and deliver them from any demonic influences or evil attachments that may have come through ungodly music or any other means.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every evil spirit to leave right now. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against them and declare their complete freedom in Christ Jesus. We ask You, Lord, to heal any emotional wounds from their past and fill them with Your peace, joy, and love. Help them to walk in the newness of life and turn away from anything that does not honor You.
Father, give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to listen to music that glorifies and honors You. Help them to be transformed by the renewing of their mind, as Romans 12:2 WEB states, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, convicting us of sin and leading us in truth. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Moving forward, be intentional about what you listen to and fill your mind with. Seek God's will for your life and trust in His goodness. Remember, God has given us the power to overcome through the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB states, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Stand firm in your faith and walk in the freedom that Christ has provided for you. If you ever feel overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out to fellow believers for support and prayer. We are here to help and encourage one another in our walk with Christ.
