We join you in your prayer, asking our Heavenly Father for forgiveness of sins. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. We confess our sins and ask that You cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. It is in His name that we pray, for You have said, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Help us, Father, to turn away from our sins and to live in a manner that pleases You. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, and give us the strength to walk in Your ways. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and in the study of God's Word. As you grow in your faith, remember that God's forgiveness is always available to those who sincerely seek Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB).
If there are any specific sins or areas of struggle in your life, we encourage you to bring them before God, seeking His forgiveness and the strength to overcome. Always remember there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose again (the gospel) you are saved as it is written in the book of Romans. "Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB). And having believed it is so. "For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10 WEB).
