We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's forgiveness and guidance. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. Let us come together in prayer and reflection on God's Word.
***
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. We confess our sins and ask that You cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us, and guide our thoughts and actions according to Your will.
In 1 John 1:9 (WEB), it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Trust in this promise, knowing that God is faithful to forgive those who sincerely seek His pardon.
Regarding your mention of not chasing after others and people from your past, we encourage you to focus on the path that God has set before you. In Proverbs 4:25-27 (WEB), it is written, "Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. Don't turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil."
Let us pray that God will grant you the strength and wisdom to live a life that honors Him. May He help you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and to run the race marked out for you with perseverance.
In Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, it is written, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Heavenly Father, we ask that You fill our hearts with Your love and kindness, enabling us to forgive others as You have forgiven us. Help us to let go of any bitterness or anger, and to live in harmony with those around us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
