We understand that you are seeking deliverance from lust and the evil eye. We commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in your request.
Firstly, let us remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Lust is a temptation that is common to many, but God promises that He will provide a way of escape. It is crucial to actively seek this way of escape and to flee from temptation. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB: "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
To be delivered from the evil eye, which is often associated with covetousness and jealousy, we remind you of the words in Proverbs 28:22 WEB: "He who has an evil eye hastens after riches, and doesn't know that poverty will come on him." Instead, let us focus on the things of God and be content with what we have, as advised in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking deliverance for our fellow believer from lust and the evil eye. Father, we know that these are temptations that can ensnare us, but You have promised a way of escape. Help them to flee from these temptations and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
Give them the strength and wisdom to fix their eyes on You and to be content with what they have. Break the chains of lust and the evil eye, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life pleasing to You.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who has set us free from sin and death. Amen.
